Section 8-5. Grass and weeds.
(a) On a lot with a dwelling, or on a lot in a platted subdivision, in Miller County, grass, weeds, and rank vegetation shall not exceed 12 inches in the maintained yard within 50 feet of the dwelling or along the frontage.
(b) This section does not require mowing of pasture, timber, crop land, or a natural buffer along a ditch or creek.
(c) The notice of violation shall identify the area to be cut and the compliance date. Heavy rain may be considered when a new date is set after re-inspection.
